Optimum GPS (glaze, polish, seal) is an all-in-one product that perfects your paint and provides optimum protection. Engineered using micro-abrasive technology, Optimum GPS remove paint imperfections, rather than filling them in, giving your paint truly clear and deep results, rather than the imitation of them. Forget using multiple steps to achieve what Optimum GPS can do in just one.
No matter how new your car is, there is almost always going to be microscopic imperfections in the paint. Even fresh off the car lot, your paint is going to need some work before you've achieved that perfect finish. However, most new cars aren't as bad in terms of swirls and scratches. Generally, all you need at that point is a quick treatment with an all in one product. All in one products, like the Optimum GPS, do the work of three different products; moderate polishing to remove light swirls and scratches, fine polishing to build shine and depth, and sealing to protect and enhance the gloss. Unfortunately, many "glazes" on the market do just that; they glaze. They fill in the light swirls and scratches and give the impression that they've been removed from the paint, only to be revealed again after just a few washes. Instantly, you've gone from beautiful, swirl-free paint, to just a cheap facade. Optimum GPS uses real abrasive technology to remove these light swirls and scratches from the paint instead of just masking. Once the micro abrasives have done their job, they slowly dissolve and allow the second step to kick in; polishing. The polishing step deepens the clarity of your paint and gives it that high gloss we've come to know and love . The last step used in Optimum GPS is the sealant; while the polishing particles are doing their job, the sealant is grabbing hold to your paint. The sealant will keep your paint protected from everyday exposure to dirt, road grime, and UV rays. Keep in mind, all of these processes are happening simultaneously and instantly, making a detail with Optimum GPS one of the quickest you'll ever experience. Directions for use:
For hand application, it is recommended you use a dedicated hand pad in the abrasive grade of your choosing. The more swirled the car is, the heavier abrasive you will need. If you paint is not as contaminated, you can use a microfiber applicator, slightly damp. Prep the hand applicator or microfiber applicator with a spray of Optimum GPS. This allows for less product absorption into the pad, and more working product.
Spray Optimum GPS directly on the panel and start to work it in using your applicator. Once you see a haze start to form, use a clean microfiber towel to gently buff the product off. You'll instantly see a clear, high gloss.
For paint that is more heavily swirled or scratched, a first step using Optimum Hyper Compound or Optimum Hyper Polish is recommended.
If using an electrical polisher or buffer, spray Optimum GPS onto the face of the pad, to prime. Depending on the severity of the scratches, make sure the appropriate abrasiveness pad is used. Use the same step as above by spraying Optimum GPS directly onto the surface. Allow the product to work on the surface until you notice a haze. After hazing, buff off with a clean microfiber towel.
